At the beginning of April 2016 Peter Verdi's Magnetic Scrolls Chronicles website went offline. So far all my attempts to contact Peter failed. His site carried some invaluable interviews with former Magnetic Scrolls people. To preserve the work I temporarily uploaded a dump of his site taken in summer of 2015. All you can see below is 100% Peter's work! Hopefully his site will reappear soon! Peter, if you read this, can you contact me?

Remember how it's like to ride on a cloud? How it feels to be squashed by a bus, or how to get that damned gold disc from Micky? Well, here's your chance to relive all these situations.

Have a chat with the devil in THE PAWN, ransack an entire island in THE GUILD OF THIEVES, restore luck itself to a whole country in JINXTER, uncover a conspiracy in CORRUPTION, become an inter-dimensional secret agent in FISH!, an ancient god in MYTH, walk in the footsteps of Alice in WONDERLAND and inherit a haunted mansion in THE LEGACY.
Become a part of the fantasy of Magnetic Scrolls - you certainly won't regret it . . .

News Update - June 14, 2010

Fellow Kerovnians!

Updates were rather scarce in the last six months. Actually they were pretty much non-existent. Well, that's going to end now. I am very proud to present another update for the Magnetic Scrolls Chronicles - and again it's a biggie:

It's interview time ... again!

This time I sat down with Rob Steggles, author of Magnetic Scrolls' most successful titles ever - Rob was responsible for writing the scenarios for "The Pawn", "The Guild of Thieves" and "Corruption". He also did, together with John Molloy, Phil South and Pete Kemp, a little bit of work on "Fish!" - in other words, he was the most productive writer for Magnetic Scrolls and kindly agreed to answer a few questions about his time working for the iconic London-based text adventure developers. The result of this great Q&A-session can be found in the "Articles" section of these pages, or by directly following this link.

As usual I hope you'll thoroughly enjoy yourself reading the interview ... and I hope I am not spoiling anything by saying that a few new and exclusive tidbits about Magnetic Scrolls will be revealed during the course of the interview ......

News Update - October 3, 2009

Fellow Kerovnians!

It's interview time again!

I am particularly proud of this update. Not only because it is the first update since February, but because it is also the biggie I promised to you some time ago and finally I can let the cat out of the bag - a few weeks ago I had the pleasure of interviewing Michael Bywater, the writer of "Jinxter", for the Magnetic Scrolls Chronicles. Doing this interview was a very special pleasure for me, not only because "Jinxter" is my personal Magnetic Scrolls favourite, but because I am also a huge fan of Michael's work as a writer outside of the stuff he has written for computer games.

Let me just say many thanks to Michael for agreeing to do the interview in the first place and for contributing so many great and priceless memories. You can access the interview with Michael by either going to the "Articles" section of these pages, or by directly following this link.

I hope you'll have as much fun reading the interview as I had making it. Until the next update I remain yours truly ...
